Fees and payments

Fees are billed per term and recorded against each learner's account, so every shilling is traceable.

How billing works

Per term, per learner

The school year has three terms. Fees are payable at the start of each term, and the statement for a learner is built from the class fee group they belong to — pre-primary, lower primary, upper primary or junior school — plus any optional services they use.

Boarding and transport are billed separately from tuition, so a day learner without transport pays only the day rate. Everything charged appears on the learner's statement, and payments are matched to the admission number automatically.

Current rates: the fee schedule is reviewed before each academic year. Ask the bursar's office for the schedule for your child's class — we do not publish rates here because they change between years and differ for day and boarding.

Paying

Two ways to pay

Always quote the learner's admission number so the payment reaches the right account.

At the office

Payments can be made at the school office during working hours, where a receipt is issued immediately against the learner's account.

Bank deposit

Bank details are available from the bursar's office. Bring the deposit slip so the payment can be matched to the learner's statement.

Keeping track

Statements and receipts

Each payment produces a receipt against the learner's account, and the running balance is visible to parents through the school portal. Statements show what has been charged, what has been paid and any balance carried forward from a previous term.

If a payment does not appear within a day, contact the bursar with the receipt or deposit slip — unallocated payments are reconciled against learner accounts.

Talk to us early

Families sometimes hit a hard term. The school would rather agree a plan than see a learner sent home:

  • Payment plans arranged with the bursar before the due date
  • Fee waivers and bursaries considered case by case
  • Written agreements recorded against the learner's account
  • A confidential conversation, not a public one
Questions

Fee FAQs

When are fees due?

At the start of each term. Paying within the first week keeps the learner's account clear and avoids follow-up calls.

Why is my payment not showing?

Check that the payment was quoted against the learner's admission number. If it was, send the receipt or deposit slip to the bursar and it will be traced and posted.

Do you charge for transport separately?

Yes. Transport is optional and charged per term by route. Boarding is also billed separately from tuition.

Can I pay in instalments?

Yes, where agreed in advance with the bursar. An agreed plan is recorded so the learner's account is not treated as overdue while you keep to it.

What happens if a learner transfers?

The account is reconciled and the balance settled or transferred as agreed, and a transfer letter and records are issued.

Need the current fee schedule?

Call the bursar's office and we will send the rates for your child's class.
