Admissions
We admit learners from PP1 through Grade 9. Places are confirmed after a short conversation, a completed application and the documents below.
Five steps to a place
Most families complete this within two weeks outside the busy January intake.
Enquire and visit
Call the office on 0710 963 130 or 0710 184 445, or send an enquiry. We will arrange a weekday morning visit and answer questions about class, transport and boarding.
Submit the application
Complete the application form at the office with the learner's details, or start the conversation by email and bring the form when you visit.
Bring the documents
The documents listed below are needed before a place can be confirmed. Copies are fine; originals may be checked.
Learner conversation / assessment
For Grade 1 and above we have a short conversation with the learner and, where useful, a reading and numeracy check so we place them in the right class.
Offer and admission
We confirm the class, day or boarding status and the fee statement, and agree a start date. The learner is registered in the school system on day one.
Documents to bring
- Birth certificate (copy)
- Immunisation / clinic card for pre-primary and lower primary
- Most recent school report and transfer letter, where applicable
- Two passport-size photographs
- Parent or guardian ID and a phone number we can reach
- Any medical or learning support information we should know
Missing a document? Tell us at the visit — we would rather start the conversation than have you wait.
Choosing what suits your family
Day learner
Learners travel from home each day, with an optional school transport route where available. Lessons, clubs and assessment are identical to boarding.
Boarding learner
Boarders live on campus through the term with supervised prep, meals and house staff. Boarding is normally available from the upper primary grades; ask the office about your child's level.
Admissions FAQs
When is the main intake?
The main intake is in January at the start of Term 1. We also admit during the year where a class has space, particularly for families relocating to Kitale.
Can my child join part-way through a term?
Usually yes, where there is a place. The class teacher will assess the learner and agree a short catch-up plan so they are not left behind by the move.
Is there an entrance examination?
No formal examination for pre-primary. For Grade 1 and above we use a short conversation and, where helpful, a reading and numeracy check to place the learner correctly.
Do you offer school transport?
Transport runs on selected routes around Kitale and is charged per term. Ask the office whether your area is covered before you confirm a place.
How are fees paid?
In cash at the school office, or by bank deposit — the bursar's office gives you the current account details with the fee statement. See the fees page for what is included and how statements work.
What if we need financial support?
Speak to the bursar's office early. The school considers fee waivers and payment plans case by case, and it is always easier to agree a plan before arrears build up.
